Frequently asked questions
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?". You'll then be asked the two security questions and the date of birth you set when you registered. Once you answer them correctly, you can set a new password. After changing it, you'll be taken back to the sign-in screen to sign in again. No email or OTP verification is sent.
How do I change my income or currency?
Your monthly salary is on the Account page under Personal Information, and your display currency is also on the Account page under Currency. Your budget updates automatically when you change your salary, and changing the currency updates how amounts are displayed across the app.
How do I change my savings goal?
Tap the "Edit goal" button next to the progress bar to update your savings goal at any time.
Does HisaabWise connect to my bank?
No. HisaabWise does not link to any bank or card. You enter your income and expenses yourself, so you stay fully in control of what the app sees.
How do I delete my account?
Go to the Account tab and choose the delete-account option. Your account is deactivated immediately, and your personal data is permanently erased after 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit, and passwords and security answers are stored only as secure one-way hashes. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
What age is HisaabWise for?
HisaabWise is intended for users aged 16 and over.

No. HisaabWise provides general financial education and budgeting tools for personal use. It is not regulated financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
